Activated charcoal is a type of carbon made from wood, vegetables, and other materials and looks like a fine black powder. The use of special manufacturing techniques results in highly porous charcoals that have surface areas of 300-2,000 square meters per gram. These so-called active, or activated, charcoals are widely used to absorb (or attached to it by chemical attraction) unwanted substances and toxins in the gut.

Suggested Dosage:  Take 2 capsules two to three times daily, 3-4 hours before/after meals or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. 

Caution:  Not to be taken at the same time as medications or other dietary supplements. If pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use. This product is not intended as a treatment for accidental poisoning.
