Acetyl-L-Carnitine is a derivative of L-Carnitine that provides all the benefits and functions of L-Carnitine such as aiding in fatty acid metabolism and energy production. Deficiencies in L-Carnitine are manifested as low energy levels and muscular weakness. The acetyl group that is part of Acetyl-L-Carnitine contributes to the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is required for mental functioning.  The L-carnitine derivative assists to help maintain brain and nerve function during aging.  It may benefit membrane stability, nerve growth factor, and cerebral blood flow.

Suggested Dosage: Take 1 capsule, 1 to 3 daily, or as suggested by your healthcare practitioner. Capsules can be swallowed or opened and contents mixed in cool food or juice.
